About My Pro Golfer
Over twenty years in the golf business, Jeremy Franks has a passion for instruction. He began his journey in golf right after high school, and knew he wanted to pursue the sport while studying marketing. He started at a local course as a “cart kid” while playing on the community college golf team. Jeremy became all American his second year in junior college, and went on to play at Towson University in Baltimore. His second year at Towson Jeremy was cut from the team, and this disappointment fed his passion to turn professional. He was medalist at his PAT (Player Ability Test), and began working for the elite clubs of Four Streams Golf Club, and later the Chevy Chase Club. This catapulted his career to pursue life as a Head Golf Professional at a private club in Virginia.
After eleven seasons as Head Pro he retired from that life to focus on his real passion: instruction. He desires to keep golf simple, and inspire others to health and wellness through golf. He will reach as many as possible with this message. As a teacher he has guided his students to their goals, some of which are three all american collegiate players, six club champions, and countless career rounds. He also loves to inspire the new golfer, who doesn't know where to begin. His approachable and kind demeanor makes every type of golfer feel comfortable in a sport where many feel awkward.

We’ll look no further than Jeremy Franks. Like many of you I have worked with countless coaches over the years to no avail. Each time thinking it be different and I would get some benefit but as we all know too well no success.
I met Jeremy at Worthington Manor being paired up with him and his wife. I was struggling mightily. It had been 10 years since I’d been on a course and almost 6 years of actually hitting a golf ball consistently. I was not having fun and he simply asked if I wanted some help and accepted quickly. He made simple changes I could understand and execute quickly. He saved me 9 strokes on the back 9 from the front. On the day I shot over 110 but felt there was hope.
I started working with Jeremy weekly through video and played a few rounds with him over the last 6 months. I am shooting in the high 80’s currently and using a driver for the first time averaging over 250 yards and 60% fairways hit. It’s a great start and look forward to his comments, encouragement and lessons each week.
